Topic 291: Present your perspective on the issue below, "So much is new and complex today that looking back for an understanding of the past provides little guidance for living in the present." | Score & Analysis The topic concludes that understanding of past can only be a little guide for us. In my opinion, past hides lots of secrets which can guide us for a better living in the future and it doesn't matter whether technology improves or not. I think the main player for a better living is emotions. I believe that technology and new things can not change our emotional life. For example,if we are in a bad situation, we can look in the past events and we may see that there were lots of events which were worse than our situation and it would make us happier and think positive. Secondly, innovations are important for a better life and all the time there were innovations which gave comfort to people. So we can say that past hides lots of teachful things for innovations and past can guide us while we are trying to make some innovations. Because information and knowledge is continuous parameters that they came from past to us and the will go to next generations from us. So it is important that looking the past and search knowledge in the past is very important for innovations and innovations make life better, so past makes life better to live.
