looking back for an understanding of the past is important tTopic 291: Present your perspective on the issue below, "So much is new and complex today that looking back for an understanding of the past provides little guidance for living in the present." | Score & Analysis It is true today?™s society becomes more complex and lots of things existing in the present are not existed in the past but the conclusion of this issue that understanding of the past provides little guidance for living in the present is not agreeable. For the first, the new things are not solely created from nothing; most of them are invented or derived from the previous inventions and this new things do not just indicate the things but it covers all the new situations, problems, environments in the present. Therefore, looking back and trace the history of those things could reveal lots of significant facts and these facts may provide important guidance for living in the present. For the next, the complexity of today also the results of derivation and evolution of the simple situations and could be rooted to the past more simple society. In this regard, when we look back and scrutinize the past, we could simplify the complexity and make further understanding of current society. In this point of view, the conclusion in this issue seems somewhat hasty or so. In conclusion, even the situations and environments in today are very different from the past though but the roots or very starting point of the problems could be found by scrutinizing the past facts. In this point, looking back for an understanding of the past could provide important guidance for living in the present and is something that shouldn?™t be neglected. - written by dukuby | Computer score: 3 What to do: |
