            <link>http://www.findscore.com/essays/34069.html</link>
<description>In this argument the author concludes that the Apogee Company should close down field offices and conduct all its operations from a single, centralized location because the company had been more profitable in the past when all its operations were in one location. For a couple of reasons, this argument is not very convincing.

<description>In this editorial, the author concluded that workers have no emotion to the management issues. To justify this conclusion, the author should reason why so? However, careful scrutiny of the evidence reveals that it provides little credible support for the authors conclusion (in several critical respects).

            <link>http://www.findscore.com/essays/34066.html</link>
<description>In this newsletter, the writer concludes that the general belief that employees are not interested in management issues is not true at least nowadays. To substantiate the conclusion, the writer points out that a recent survey exhibits that 79% of survey respondents are highly interested in management issues, such as corporate restructuring and redesign of benefit programs. However, there are several problematic points that need to be clarified before we agree with the conclusion driven from the argument.

            <link>http://www.findscore.com/essays/34065.html</link>
<description>As someone very rightly said &quot; mother is the first teacher for a child&quot; and I would not hesitate to add that the home is the first classroom. When a baby is born it is the family which gives it a sense of belonging and warmth. As a child it learns everything from the mother and family as a whole.the siblings serve as the playmates and the baby learns the values of patience, teamspirit and respect for others. The family values are learnt and incorporated sub consciously in the mind and heart. In future these values would help the child make a decision when overcome with a problem. A family which has a happy and encouraging environment will produce a self confident and a inquisitive child.

My stance is there are no spaces for luck when people succeed.

<description>Most companies, both in the private and public sectors, include email groups within their email systems, which allow employees assigned to various units within the organization to communicate to all employees within the unit. At least in the organizations in which I have worked, these email groups have included an all employee email list that all in the organization could access. Employee access to this all inclusive email group is both convenient and efficient, e.g., allowing departing employees to bid adieu to colleagues, to inform all staff when congratulations or condolences are in order and the like.

<description>For countries with a history of colonialism during which its people and resources have been exploited by European or other nations of the developed world, a reluctance to part with archeological treasures is understandable. These treasures, whether the ancient pyramids of the Pharaohs of Egypt, the remains of the first temple or earliest humanoids, or manuscripts of the Hittite civilization, represent the culture and heritage of a nation, but also a potential source of economic prosperity. Archeological finds can turn a country into a destination for the visiting world public as well as archeological scholars.

            <link>http://www.findscore.com/essays/34056.html</link>
<description>A decision to restore the time devoted to weather and local news to its former level is one that should be made with more careful consideration of evidence, data and viewer feedback by the business manager of the television station. The business manager's recommendations are based on certain implicit assumptions that due to a lack of supporting information cannot be proved. There are any number of plausible explanations for the decline in viewers and advertising sales; some would strengthen the business manager’s argument and others would undermine it. As indicated by the following discussion, data such as viewer preferences for consumption of other local, weather and national new services; the ratings for the late-night news program and the programming offered by competing stations during the same time is needed to analyze the decline in viewers and advertising .

            <link>http://www.findscore.com/essays/34055.html</link>
<description>The article posits that scientists due to the excessive hours they must work to advance their careers require good and affordable all day child care, and further that career advancement requirements be modified to allow scientists with preschool children to spend more time with them. The argument provides no details regarding the type of scientists it references (e.g., gene researchers, biologists, medical researchers, nuclear physicists, astronomers) nor the reasons why advancement requires 60 to 80 hour work weeks. In addition, the age of the scientists is not specified, but given the emphasis on child care, the assumption is that these are younger scientists with families comprised of young children.

            <link>http://www.findscore.com/essays/34054.html</link>
<description>In order to correct a decline in both enrollment and admissions applications due to student dissatisfaction with teaching and library resources and re-gain the university's status as the most prestigious university in the area, the financial planning office of Fern Valley University recommends that the University initiate a fund-raising campaign among alumni to add new courses on a broader range of subjects and increase the size of library facilities. The argument is based on at least two questionable assumptions: the first being that the results of an undefined survey of students identifying the causes of student disaffection with the university are accurate; and secondly that the quality of instruction in the new courses will be better than that of existing courses.

            <link>http://www.findscore.com/essays/34053.html</link>
<description>The argument and its conclusions are based on the uncertain premise that middle-aged consumers, a demographic segment that is growing at a faster rate than younger consumers, will maintain their proportionally higher retail spending pattern at department stores relative to younger consumers. However, the underlying reasoning excludes certain factors that seriously undermine the strength of the argument: the fixed-income of older, post-retirement consumers, and the phenomenal increase in the use of e-commerce for retail purchases.

            <link>http://www.findscore.com/essays/34052.html</link>
<description>Nations should not require that all students study the same national curriculum. Such a policy change assumes that given the same material, all children learn the same and as a corollary all teachers are capable of teaching the same material in the same way. In addition to neglecting differences in learning and teaching styles, it would also inhibit creativity and contribute to a lowering of standards in public education systems. The uniformity would also lend itself to governmental meddling in curriculum. If every teacher is forced to teach a certain text, the government need only change that text to misinform an entire generation. Lastly, a standardized curriculum would also adversely affect students who come from lower income families, families with little formal education as they might not have the resources to supplement the educational resources available at public schools.

            <title>Topic 562 Enterprise Process Issue Essay</title>
            <link>http://www.findscore.com/essays/34051.html</link>
<description>The statement suggests that the process by which a business or enterprise produces the thing it provides –a good or a service– is more important than the good or service. As a consumer, I would agree with this statement, but only to the extent improvements to the process by which the good or service is produced or provided increases the quality of the good or service and reduces the price of the good or service. Reducing production costs through process changes that eliminate waste is a basic tenet of mass production; one need only recall Henry Ford’s ground-breaking assembly line for the Model T, or refer to Frederick Winslow Taylor’s “Principles of Scientific Management” to confirm this. Assuming there is demand for a particular good, a well-paid, skilled work-force and a reliable, stably-priced supply chain –essentially all the ingredients that contributed to Ford’s success with the production of the Model T– such savings can translate into higher output levels and lower consumer prices. Equally important is the quality of the product; for any savings realized from the purchase of an efficiently-produced good that consistently malfunctions or just plain does not work are eaten up by repair or service costs.
